Fiberlock- Ductwork Encapsulant & Mold-Resistant Coating – High Viscosity

IAQ 8000 is a high-viscosity, semi-gloss coating designed to reinforce and seal duct liner and duct board insulation materials, preventing airborne fiberglass and particulate during component removal. Perfect for ductwork applications, IAQ 8000 forms a durable, flexible, and moisture-resistant coating that minimizes dust buildup and reduces sagging and dripping. It has been tested to ASTM C-411 for hot surface performance and meets ASTM E-84 Class A fire-rated standards. IAQ 8000 is resistant to mold growth on the dry coating surface, ensuring long-term effectiveness in mold-prone environments.

Specifications:

  • Coverage: 100-200 sq. ft. per gallon (smooth surfaces), varies with porosity

  • Drying Time: 1-2 hours to touch, recoat in 8-16 hours

  • Application Tools: Brush, roller, or airless spray (2500-3000 PSI)

  • Storage: Store in a dry place between 40°F (4.5°C) and 90°F (32°C)
